Biography
Sarah Nano is a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Notre Dame. She recieved her Bachelor's of Science degree in Bioengineering at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Sarah studies breast cancer metastasis in bone and focuses on creating tissue engineered models to better understand disease progression and treatment response. Sarah uses engineered hydrogels and tissue cultures to investigate cancer and bone interventions.
