Aurelie Brownsberger

Biography

Aurelie is a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Notre Dame whose research interests lie at the intersection of biomaterials and immunoengineering. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering at Yale University. After earning her masters degree, Aurelie joined the the pharmaceutical industry and worked on the development of Proteolysis Targeting Chimeras (PROTACs) for targeted protein degradation in cancers. Her current research focus is on the use of nanoparticles for oncology and immunology therapeutics.
