Biography
Zachary is a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Notre Dame as a recipient of the Richard and Peggy Notebaert Premier Fellowship. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio Northern University. There, he worked on developing a three-dimensional model of micron-scale cortical bone. He joined the Niebur lab in 2025, where he works to investigate the effects of loading on gene and protein expression as a part of the bone remodeling process.
