Savannah Harpster

Biography
Savannah is a current PhD student in the Bioengineering program. Prior to this, she earned her masters degree in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University where she defended her thesis on characterizing targeted microbubble contrast agents. Savannah also has a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami, where she worked at the Diabetes Research Institute as an undergraduate researcher. In addition to assisting diabetes-related projects, Savannah gained experience with biomaterial fabrication during her senior design project where she synthesized 45S5 bioglass.
