Biography
Monica Leal Palma is a Bioengineering Graduate Student in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department at University of Notre Dame. She is advised by Dr. Meenal Datta, follow this link to learn about her research: https://timelab.nd.edu
She was awarded a Materials Science and Engineering Fellowship to conduct research under the mentorship of Dr. Meenal Datta and Dr. Ryan Roeder. Monica received her Bachelor’s degrees in Nanotechnology and Molecular Engineering, and in Pharmaceutical and Biological Chemistry from Universidad de las Americas Puebla, in Mexico. She was twice awarded a NDnano Undergraduate Researcher Fellowship to work in the TIME Lab with Dr. Meenal Datta and Dr. Ryan Roeder.
