Biography
Carlie is Ph.D. student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences
department at the University of Notre Dame. Carlie graduated with her bachelor’s of science in
biology from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She then joined the pharmaceutical industry
at a Contract Research Organization where she participated in GMP compliant research. From
there Carlie joined the Nallathamby lab at Notre Dame as a laboratory technician. Currently her
research focus is on the use of nanoparticles for oncology and antibacterial therapeutics.
